MIK Shipping Policy

At MadeinKorea.io (MIK), shipping procedures are designed to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with international standards. Because we operate as a global B2B platform, most shipments are fulfilled directly by our partnered brands or authorized distributors.

As such, all shipping timelines, packaging standards, documentation, and related requirements are governed by the policies of the respective brand or distributor under agreement with MIK. Our role is to facilitate and oversee the process to ensure that all shipments meet the expectations of our global buyers while strictly adhering to the terms set by our brand partners.

Depending on the agreement, delivery may be arranged under various Incoterms (e.g., FCA, FOB, CIF, DDP), and any applicable customs, duties, or regulatory requirements will follow the brand or distributor’s official policy. MIK supports coordination between buyers and brands to provide transparency on shipping costs, lead times, and insurance coverage, but ultimate terms are subject to the contracted brand’s regulations.

By sourcing through MIK, buyers acknowledge that each shipment reflects the specific shipping and fulfillment standards of the corresponding brand or distributor. MIK remains committed to ensuring smooth coordination, providing accurate tracking information, and assisting with any shipping-related inquiries on behalf of our partners.

 

Return Policy

MIK B2B Returns & Refunds Policy

At MadeinKorea.io (MIK), we are committed to providing global buyers with authentic, high-quality Korean products. As a B2B platform, our return and refund policies are designed to reflect industry standards and protect both our brand partners and our wholesale customers.

Eligibility for Returns & Claims

Returns, exchanges, or credit notes will only be considered in the following cases:

The delivered goods are defective, damaged, or expired upon receipt.

The contents of the shipment do not match the confirmed Purchase Order (P.O.), including product type, quantity, or specifications.

Please note that buyer’s remorse or overstock situations are not eligible for return or refund under our B2B policy.

Claim Procedure

All claims must be submitted in writing to hi@madeinkorea.io
 within 7 business days of receipt of goods.

Supporting documentation (such as photos of damaged or incorrect items, packing slips, and invoice references) must be provided to initiate a claim.

No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization from MIK.

Return Authorization & Shipping

Once a claim is reviewed and approved, MIK will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.

Unless otherwise agreed, return freight charges will be the responsibility of the buyer. In cases where MIK or the supplying brand/distributor is at fault, MIK will arrange and cover the return shipping.

All returned products must be in their original packaging, unopened, and unaltered unless the claim concerns damage/defect on arrival.

Refunds & Credit Notes

After inspection and approval, refunds will be issued to the buyer’s original method of payment, or a credit note will be applied to the buyer’s account for future orders.

Processing time for refunds may take up to 10 business days depending on the payment method and financial institution.

Please note that shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

International Orders

Buyers are solely responsible for all applicable customs fees, import duties, and VAT imposed by their local authorities.

MIK cannot declare shipments as “gifts” or undervalue products to avoid customs charges.
