From Korea, Thoughtfully Global

Made in Korea (MIK) is a curated platform that partners with brands born in Korea as they move toward global markets—step by step, with intention.

Rather than simply helping brands “go overseas,” we focus on ensuring they are understood, trusted, and positioned appropriately in each market they enter. Global expansion is not a single leap, but a process that requires context, timing, and credibility.

At MIK, we respect that every brand has its own pace and direction. We believe in growth that follows validation, not acceleration for its own sake. Building something that lasts matters more than growing fast.

Instead of mass exposure, we prioritize meaningful connections—linking brands with global independent concept stores, select shops, retailers, and buyers who are capable of understanding a brand’s value, story, and long-term potential.

Through MIK, brands do more than present products. They communicate their narrative, philosophy, and direction to the right partners.

Our structure is not designed for one-sided exposure aimed at large-scale distribution. It is built around mutual understanding and long-term collaboration, allowing brands to enter global markets in a more stable and strategic way.

By starting with small-scale testing and expanding gradually, MIK helps brands evaluate market response and connect carefully with retailers and buyers that truly fit.

We work with teams that value product excellence, clear philosophy, and long-term brand equity.
We believe sustainable growth creates greater opportunity than short-term volume, and trust built over time outweighs indiscriminate discounting.

MIK Buyers

Made in Korea (MIK) is a curated showroom and community for global buyers seeking Korean-designed, Korean-made products.

MIK is not an open marketplace. It is a selective B2B environment, intentionally designed so brands and buyers can meet with mutual understanding and shared expectations.

We do not serve general consumers. Only verified sellers and qualified business buyers are permitted to participate in the MIK showroom.

For example, buyers based in the United States must hold valid business credentials such as a Seller’s Permit (Sales Tax Permit) in order to register. This verification process ensures that MIK remains a trusted space where participants are capable of real distribution and sales.

The MIK showroom brings together:

  • Owners of global independent concept stores and select shops

  • Buyers who curate brands for high-end retail environments

  • Budget-friendly market buyers seeking well-crafted emerging brands at accessible price points

What they share is a deep appreciation for Korean design sensibility and the quality of products made in Korea.
They approach brands with a long-term perspective, valuing partnership over short-term sourcing.

MIK exists to ensure these buyers connect with brands only after fully understanding their value, context, and direction—creating partnerships built to grow over time.
