1. Company Information and Acceptance of Terms

MadeinKorea.io is operated by MadeinKorea.io, Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, with operations managed from California.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, platform, and related services operated by MadeinKorea.io (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing, browsing, registering for an account, or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by the MadeinKorea.io Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, you may not access or use the Services. Registration for an account constitutes your affirmative acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

 

2. Eligibility and Business Use

The Services are intended solely for business, professional, and commercial use. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and that you are accessing the Services in a commercial or professional capacity.

The Services are not intended for personal, household, or consumer use.

 

3. Nature and Scope of the Platform

MadeinKorea.io operates a business-to-business platform designed to introduce and connect curated Korean brands with global buyers, retailers, distributors, and other commercial partners.

MadeinKorea.io acts solely as a platform provider and is not a seller of record, buyer of goods, payment processor, logistics provider, fulfillment provider, or guarantor of commercial outcomes. MadeinKorea.io does not participate in, control, verify, or guarantee any negotiations, transactions, pricing, regulatory compliance, quality, delivery, performance, or results arising from interactions between users.

All commercial arrangements, including purchase orders and payments for goods, are entered into directly between buyers and sellers at their own discretion and risk.

 

4. Pricing, Wholesale Terms, and Changes

Wholesale prices, suggested pricing, minimum order quantities, availability, and other commercial terms displayed on the Platform are provided by vendors or brand owners for informational and reference purposes only.

Such pricing and commercial terms may change at any time due to vendor or brand policies, market conditions, production costs, inventory levels, currency fluctuations, or other factors beyond the control of MadeinKorea.io.

MadeinKorea.io does not guarantee that pricing or wholesale terms displayed on the Platform will remain current, accurate, or unchanged, and has no obligation to notify users of pricing changes.

Any final pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions applicable to a transaction are determined solely by the agreement reached directly between the buyer and the seller. MadeinKorea.io is not responsible for disputes arising from pricing changes or policy adjustments implemented by vendors or brands.

 

5. Brand Content, Vendor Materials, and Intellectual Property

The Platform may display brand names, product images, descriptions, trademarks, logos, specifications, certifications, and other materials (“Brand Content”).

Brand Content is provided by vendors, brand owners, distributors, publicly available sources, or other lawful means, and is displayed for informational and business reference purposes only.

MadeinKorea.io does not represent or warrant that all Brand Content is uploaded with the express authorization of the brand owner in every instance, nor does it claim ownership of any Brand Content.

All intellectual property rights in Brand Content remain the property of their respective owners. Display of Brand Content does not imply endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or authorization unless expressly stated.

If you believe that any Brand Content infringes your intellectual property rights, you may contact hi@madeinkorea.io with sufficient details. MadeinKorea.io will review and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

 

6. Account Registration and User Responsibilities

To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activities conducted under your account.

MadeinKorea.io may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or pose legal, security, or operational risks.

 

7. Communications and Email Consent

Providing a valid email address is mandatory for using the Services. By registering, you consent to receive service-related communications including onboarding messages, account notices, security alerts, and policy updates. These communications are integral to the Services and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

Marketing or promotional emails may be enabled by default where permitted by law. You may opt out at any time without affecting your account access.

 

8. Membership, Subscriptions, and Billing

Certain features require a paid membership or subscription. Membership is offered solely for business use.

All subscription payments are processed through a third-party payment processor, Stripe. MadeinKorea.io does not store or process payment card information.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

All membership and subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused time, early cancellation, inactivity, dissatisfaction, or changes to the Services.

 

9. Refunds Related to B2B Transactions

MadeinKorea.io does not sell products, accept purchase orders, collect payment for goods, or manage fulfillment or shipping.

Accordingly, MadeinKorea.io does not provide refunds for products, samples, shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, delivery delays, quality issues, damaged goods, regulatory matters, or any disputes arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.

All refunds, returns, credits, or adjustments related to goods or purchase orders are governed solely by the terms agreed upon between the buyer and the seller. MadeinKorea.io has no obligation to mediate disputes or provide compensation.

 

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, misrepresent your identity, infringe intellectual property rights, interfere with platform security, or engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive conduct.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. MadeinKorea.io disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MadeinKorea.io shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business opportunities, data, or goodwill.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MadeinKorea.io from any claims arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or transactions with other users.

14. Suspension, Termination, and Data Loss

MadeinKorea.io may suspend or terminate access at any time. Upon termination, access to data or content may be permanently removed without obligation to retain or restore such data.

15. Modifications to the Services or Terms

MadeinKorea.io may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services or these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

16. Force Majeure

MadeinKorea.io is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including failures of third-party service providers.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
